The Main Beaches

One of the most beautiful spots on the entire Costa Blanca. Sandy bay, dramatic clifftop setting and a charming marina nearby. The cliff walk towards La Zenia is one of the best short walks in the region. Go early in summer.

📍 Calle del Mar, La Zenia
Wide, well-equipped, Blue Flag awarded. Perfect for families. Beach bars, restaurants, showers and easy parking. The cliff walk connecting La Zenia to Cabo Roig is genuinely stunning.
🏖️ Playa Flamenca
📍 Calle Saavedra Fajardo, Playa Flamenca
Two beautiful coves separated by a scenic promenade with palm trees. Calm waters, lively atmosphere, watersports and restaurants nearby. One of the most complete family beaches in the area.
🏖️ Punta Prima Beach
📍 Calle del Mar, Punta Prima
Relaxed, clear water, mix of sand and rock formations. Has a beachside elevator — one of the most accessible beaches in the region. Less crowded than La Zenia.
🏖️ Campoamor Beach
📍 Calle del Agua, Dehesa de Campoamor
Long, wide golden sand next to the Campoamor marina. Blue Flag and Q quality mark. Water sports, restaurants, showers, parking. The marina is worth a walk after the beach.
🏖️ Mil Palmeras Beach
📍 Avenida Riviera, Mil Palmeras
Quieter, more relaxed, fine sand and calm waters. Ideal for a long afternoon without the crowds.
Hidden Coves Worth Discovering
🌊 Cala Bosque
📍 Near Hotel Servigroup La Zenia
Blue Flag cove with 350m of fine sand and crystal-clear water. Great for snorkelling along the rocky edges. All facilities nearby.
🌊 Cala Capitán
📍 Between Cala Bosque and Cabo Roig
Small sheltered cove with two bays and two tiny islands offshore. Shallow, calm water — one of the best for young children and snorkelling. Beach bar and wheelchair access.
🌊 Cala Cerrada
📍 Near La Zenia Beach
The only dedicated surfing beach in Orihuela Costa. Sheltered by rocky cliffs, far less crowded than the main beaches. Chiringuito bar just above the sand.
🌊 Cala La Mosca
📍 Playa Flamenca
Small triangular cove protected by rocky headlands. Naturally calm, safe bathing water. One of the best-kept secrets in the area. Quiet, clean and beautiful.
Further Afield — Worth the Drive
🏖️ La Mata Beach
📍 Avenida de los Europeos, La Mata, Torrevieja
One of the longest beaches in the region. Wide boulevard, restaurants and bars, and the famous pink salt lakes nature reserve nearby. Great for a full day out.
🏖️ El Cura Beach
📍 Paseo Juan Aparicio, Torrevieja
The main city beach of Torrevieja. Lively, well-equipped, Blue Flag awarded. Good if you want to combine beach with exploring the town.
Casa Capital Tips for a Perfect Beach Day
The beaches closest to most of our properties are La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca — all within 5 to 10 minutes by car. In July and August, arrive before 10am for parking and sunbeds.
