The Best Beaches in Costa Blanca South — Casa Capital’s Local Beach Guide

Costa Blanca South is home to some of the finest beaches in Spain. With over 16 kilometres of Mediterranean coastline, crystal-clear water, golden sand and more than 300 sunny days per year, it is no surprise that guests return year after year. Whether you are looking for a lively family beach, a quiet cove for snorkelling, or a long stretch of sand for an evening walk — this guide covers it all.

The Main Beaches

🏖️ Cabo Roig Beach

📍 Calle del Mar, Cabo Roig

One of the most beautiful spots on the entire Costa Blanca. Sandy bay, dramatic clifftop setting and a charming marina nearby. The cliff walk towards La Zenia is one of the best short walks in the region. Go early in summer.

🏖️ La Zenia Beach

📍 Calle del Mar, La Zenia

Wide, well-equipped, Blue Flag awarded. Perfect for families. Beach bars, restaurants, showers and easy parking. The cliff walk connecting La Zenia to Cabo Roig is genuinely stunning.

🏖️ Playa Flamenca

📍 Calle Saavedra Fajardo, Playa Flamenca

Two beautiful coves separated by a scenic promenade with palm trees. Calm waters, lively atmosphere, watersports and restaurants nearby. One of the most complete family beaches in the area.

🏖️ Punta Prima Beach

📍 Calle del Mar, Punta Prima

Relaxed, clear water, mix of sand and rock formations. Has a beachside elevator — one of the most accessible beaches in the region. Less crowded than La Zenia.

🏖️ Campoamor Beach

📍 Calle del Agua, Dehesa de Campoamor

Long, wide golden sand next to the Campoamor marina. Blue Flag and Q quality mark. Water sports, restaurants, showers, parking. The marina is worth a walk after the beach.

🏖️ Mil Palmeras Beach

📍 Avenida Riviera, Mil Palmeras

Quieter, more relaxed, fine sand and calm waters. Ideal for a long afternoon without the crowds.
