Casa El Refugio

Casa El Refugio is a 69 m² rooftop penthouse with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in Residencial Onaru in Los Balcones, Torrevieja. It sleeps up to four, with a sofa bed and a cot available on request, and the name fits: this is a quiet apartment in a residential part of town rather than a holiday strip.

The apartment has two balconies as well as a private rooftop terrace, and the rooftop is why guests book it. From up there you look out over the Torrevieja salt lakes, the mountains inland and the sea, which is a rare combination from one spot. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, washing machine and dryer, heating is fitted for the cooler months, and there is a smart TV in the living room.

Guests have use of the complex's shared swimming pool and jacuzzi at no extra cost, along with a separate children's pool. Parking is complimentary unreserved street parking around the complex, so there is no private space with this one. The beach is a seven to ten minute drive.
